The final unit of inquiry for the year coincides with Grade 5 Camp and Grade 6 transition. Whilst this unit is technically 5 weeks, there are a number of interruptions (Camp for 3 days, Transition 1-2 days, Celebration assembly 1-2 days) that reduce it to 3.5 weeks.
This unit centers around the physical, emotional and social changes associated with early adolescence and moving to Middle School. We will be paying particular attention to the changes that occur during Puberty and we will be viewing resources such as DVDs, books and posters that explore with this aspect of life.
