This is the second unit that makes up the Grade 5 PYP Exhibition. In this unit, the focus shifts from finding out about different groups and people who are helping to make a difference, to forming an organisation and taking action. Students are required to allocate roles and responsibilities to achieve group goals.
Groups are formed by a number of different criteria, but primarily it is by interest in a particular organisation or issue.
The unit culminates with the PYP Exhibition Event for parents and the WAB community held at the end of April. This is an opportunity for the students to present the process they have gone through, the knowledge, skills and understandings they have acquired and any action they have undertaken.
